As a fourth generation Beaufort native, Edward attended high school in Virginia and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a concentration in real estate. Edward first worked with the South Carolina Budget and Control Board negotiating on leased space on behalf of the state. Following that he worked for Edens & Avant Commercial Properties in Columbia. In 1994, Edward returned to Beaufort and founded a luxury real estate marketing firm that merged with Lowcountry Real Estate in 1997.

Today he as partner in Lowcountry Real Estate, Beaufort’s leader in real estate sales, and continues to represent the buyers and sellers of the lowcountry’s finest properties.
