As a fourth generation Beaufort native, Edward attended high school in Virginia and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a concentration in real estate. Edward first worked with the South Carolina Budget and Control Board negotiating on leased space on behalf of the state. Following that he worked for Edens & Avant Commercial Properties in Columbia. In 1994, Edward returned to Beaufort and founded a luxury real estate marketing firm that merged with Lowcountry Real Estate in 1997.

Today as a partner in Lowcountry Real Estate, Beaufort's leader in real estate sales, he continues to represent the buyers and sellers of the Lowcountry's finest properties.
